TRAINING AND TACTICS

Instructors certified by DPS will teach you the state-mandated course for being a level 2 licensed security officer. 

This course will include training in report writing, defensive tactics as well as handcuffing techniques. In addition, we will guide you through the steps of applying for your license to receive a level 2 certificate upon completion of the training course. 

Instructors certified by DPS will teach you the state-mandated course for being a level 3 licensed security officer. 

This training course requires  more in depth than a level 2 course.  This course will include training in report writing, handcuffing techniques, defense tactics, ASP baton, OC spray and firearm proficiency.  In addition, we will guide you through the steps of applying for your license and to  receive a level 3 certificate upon completion of the training course

Instructors certified by DPS will teach you

Close-quarters combat training is tactical skills necessary for physical confrontation between several individuals at very short range. 

This instruction will take place on a firearm range to prepare you for high intensity and multi-combat scenarios.  You will learn accuracy, speed and how to hone your shooting skills to be prepared for any situation.  

This class will consist of tactical shooting, clearing malfunctions, assessing situations and public safety. 

All of our DPS certified Firearms Instructors and TCOLE Firearm Instructors are  certified License to Carry Instructors.  Our instructors will teach you all state mandated course material required to receive your license to carry for the state of Texas.  

This course involves classroom instruction followed by the  firearm proficiency and range qualification.  We will go over all laws involving License To Carry as well as safety instructions.  Our classes have benefited a variety of students-from first time shooters to long time gun owners.  We understand that this course can be very intimidating for first time shooters therefore, we will go at a pace that each student feels comfortable with.
